Clifton, I fully agree. I once coached a PWS who would not believe anything I said. He kept telling me that I am wrong and that he is right and refused to be open to what I had to say. There is absolutely no way that I could have helped him.
It baffles my mind how people keep holding on to beliefs about stuttering when it has kept them stuttering for years. Oh well, I am here to help those who want to be helped and who are open to a new way of thinking. Those who refuse to accept living powerless lives due to stuttering. Hopefully, once we have helped enough people cure their stuttering, people will be less inclined to accept theirs.
