My name is Amit Mondal, I am 23 now and have been stuttering since I was 5. Since my childhood I faced lot of problems due to my stammering problem in every situations. Now I have been able to get over stuttering and realized that I will never stutter if I never consent to a stutter.
I am living a much better life but I am still working on getting over the fear of stuttering.
This program truly works and I hope it helps many more people to come!I am really thankful to Lee Lovett and Javier who guided me in such a wonderful way to achieve my fluency.

Hi Amit. Thanks for this message! This is the reason why we do what we do. As you said, now you know the tools to speak fluently, permanently. Your next battle is against fears. Fighting fears is easier than fighting stutters, but it takes longer to win the battle, but I’m 100% you’ll win it, and you’ll learn to love to speak in ALL venues. I strongly recommend you to attend to our weekly SpeechAnxietyMasters Club meetings (https://speechanxiety.com/speech-club/), because this is the perfect place to fight fears of speaking to groups of people, and learn to have fun when speaking infront of an audience. Of course, you can simply attend as a listener, no problem with that. And another great thing about this speech club is that you meet many other PWS and PWSS from all over the world.October 2, 2020 at 9:44 am #27841Leah AreffModerator
Welcome. How are things going with your speech? Please remember that having fear for a while after you stop stuttering is completely normal. Do you think that Rafael Nadal goes on to the court without having some sort of fear? You would think that since he is the best tennis player alive, he should have no fear right? But he does, because he cares about his game and he is extremely passionate about it, and of course he is sometimes afraid to lose the game, just as we are afraid that we will start stuttering.
The difference is that, as hard as Rafael Nadal practices or how well he plays, he may still lose the game. With us, we are not competing against anybody else, it is me against me. If I do not consent to stutter, I never will. Simple as that. Fear is just fear and nothing else. As long as you do not allow the fear to manifest into a hesitation, block and then stutter, you will never stutter again.
It took about a year for my stuttering speech fears to completely disappear, but, not ONCE did I stutter during that year! Hope this helps!
